ELEMENT offers expertise to interconnect various disciplines such as urban design, architecture, sustainability and engineering to create places for all.

Research - Living with natural disasters
An ongoing research project, which started in October 2022 in Japan. More visits to the Tohoku area are planned as well as presentations and articles to follow.

Learning - Indoor Urban Farming
The installation was created by PM:Landscape. A creative landscape architecture studio founded by Eleni Mente & Thalia Protopappa in Athens in 2010. The school leadership worked with us to introduce a non-conventional method of food growing experience, as part of the environmental classes for the students of the Primary School at Ionios in Athens. We created an interactive space for play and learning. A bespoke timber installation with organic shape and elements for gathering and play, where children can plant, observe and grow vegetables experimenting with hydroponic cultivation.
Experimental - Green Walls Workshop
PM:Landscape joined forces with Plant-A-Tree in Athens in 2010, as part of the studio's commitment to promote urban greening. We spend few weeks experimenting with living walls, creating a bespoke panel, aiming to fully understand the function of the vertical greening system.
